1. What is the difference between a real wall and a pressurized wall?
A real wall is permanently attached to the floor, walls and ceiling with screws and adhesive.
Removal of these walls causes damage to the apartment. A pressurized wall uses only a pressure system that does not cause any damage to the structure of the building, which is why apartment complexes allow them.
2. What do the pressurized walls look like?
Our walls look amazing- especially now that we offer seamless installation. The walls are as thick as a standard wall in your apartment (four and a half inches thick). Just let us know what color paint our wall should be and we will match deliver the proper color. Our walls blend in great to the existing walls in your apartment.
3. Why do other pressurized wall companies lease their walls and we don’t?
Other Pressurized wall companies lease their walls so they can reuse their materials. They reuse windows and sound insulation doors. We pride ourselves in giving our customers the freshest looking walls by providing them with brand new materials. Our competitors have many hidden fees connected to the length of the lease. Since we don’t lease our walls there are no hidden fees. We know how hard it can be to makes ends meet in NYC hidden fees are not part of our vocabulary. You know what you will be paying!
4. How do I get a discount code?
We have the discount code for returning customers and customers that refer their friends .All you need to do to get one is give us your name or your friends name and if you are a repeat customer, or you have a referral, you will be in our system and will receive a discount code.
5. How much notice do we need to give before removal of the wall?
We require at least 4 weeks notice before removal of your wall. Failure to give us timely notice, will result in a $300.00 removal fee.
6. How sound proof is the wall?
The walls will muffle sound and will give you the privacy you are looking for. With a request for sound insulation, the sound is diminished even more. If you are on a strict budget we recommend not getting the sound insulation since you will be satisfied without it.
7. What if my wall is not a standard shape?
Our Installers can accommodate any shape or size wall that you need. We can build walls to any ceiling height.
8. What if my building has no elevator?
We can accommodate any building even if there is no elevator. Unlike our competitors we do not charge extra for walk ups.
9. What can I hang on the wall? Can you hang a LCD on the wall?
You have a limit of 30 lbs per side. If you want an LCD mounted we can do this at an additional charge. However, we need to know this in advance.
10. How do I get started?
First, contact your building to secure permission and find out if they have special requirements or need us to supply an insurance certificate. Call us; we probably already have all the information needed. We are fully insured with a $1,000,000 policy.
11. How do I pay by credit card?
For your convenience we accept credit card. We are proud to be the only pressurized Wall Company that provides this service. If you choose to pay using a credit card you must make the payment two days prior to the installation.
12. What standard color is the paint used on the wall?
